Tray baked sausages with Apples and Shallots

Preheat oven to 220C

Ingredients

Tray baked sausages with Apples and Shallots

Serves 4

1 bunch of sage

2 thick slices of white sourdough, torn into bite size

8 pork sausages

4 shallots, peeled and cut in half

4 Jazz™ apples, cut into slices

4 tbsp olive oil

2 tsp brown sugar

2 tsp whole grain mustard

Pinch of salt

Method

Line a large baking tray with paper and scatter over half of the sage leaves and bread pieces.

Top with the sausage, shallots and apple slices. Whisk together the olive oil, brown sugar, mustard and salt in a small bowl and drizzle over the sausage, shallot and apple mixture.

Roast in the oven for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and sticky.
